Andalusia is a vibrant tapestry of celebrations, traditional fairs, and cultural festivals.
Here are some notable events to put in your diary!

Spain's largest walking event! Join 1000s of participants starting in Marbella, Costa Del Sol, and enjoy the scenic routes along the way. Registration and payment fees are required.

Held from October 17-20, 2025, at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, Cadiz. The event attracts top international golfers and contributes to the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai.

Enjoy tastings of fresh olive oil, lively parades, folk music, and a festive look at centuries of olive-growing tradition. A true taste of Andalusian culture! 4th to the 8th December in Martos, Jaén,

The Fiesta de la Vendimia in Jerez de la Frontera is one of Andalusia’s most emblematic autumn festivals, celebrating the grape harvest and the region’s world-famous sherry wine. It’s a colourful, lively mix of tradition, wine culture, and Andalusian art, making it one of the best times to experience Jerez at its most vibrant.

The Van Gogh Experience in Estepona is an immersive journey into the world of one of history’s greatest artists. There's still time to experience this excellent event, but its recommended to book in advance. Visitors are surrounded by towering projections of Van Gogh’s iconic paintings, where every brushstroke and vibrant colour comes to life in stunning detail.

The Ritmo a Caballo Equestrian Show, Torremolinos, is a mesmerising celebration of Andalusian culture and horsemanship. The full experience ticket includes: – Guided tour of the stables (optional) – Admission to Ritmo a Caballo (no pre-arranged seating). – Parking available. – Dinner and drinks. – Flamenco show. – Wi-Fi at the show grounds.

It's all here waiting for you!
If you’re flying directly into Andalusia, you’ve got a handful of main airports to choose from, depending on which part of the region you want to base yourself in:
Málaga–Costa del Sol (AGP) – The largest airport, perfect for the Costa del Sol (Marbella, Nerja) and a gateway to Granada, Córdoba, and Seville.
Seville (SVQ) – Well connected to Europe; ideal for Seville, Córdoba, Huelva, and western Andalusia.
Granada–Jaén (GRX) – Smaller airport with mainly European flights; best for Granada and nearby Jaén.
Jerez (XRY) – Serves Jerez, Cádiz, and the Costa de la Luz; great for sherry country and the Vendimia Festival.
Almería (LEI) – Ideal for eastern Andalusia, Cabo de Gata, Mojácar, and the Alpujarras; mostly seasonal European flights.
Gibraltar (GIB) – Technically outside Andalusia (UK territory) but convenient for the Costa del Sol and Cádiz province.
If you’re looking for the best all-round choice, Málaga (AGP) usually offers the most frequent and affordable flights with excellent onward transport across Andalusia.
