Hotel Restaurante Bandolero is a charming rural hotel and restaurant, located in the picturesque village of Júzcar.

This enchanting little village leapt from traditional to extraordinary by turning itself into a real-life Smurf village!

Once a typical white pueblo in Andalusia, Júzcar was transformed in 2011, when its buildings were painted

bright Smurf blue, for the premiere of The Smurfs movie.

Today, it remains a magical destination surrounded by lush countryside, hiking trails, and quirky blue-painted houses that make for an unforgettable getaway.

The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch daily from Thursday to Monday, with a menu created by Cordon Bleu trained Chef Iván Sastre; also know as the Chef de La Castaña (Chestnut Chef). Chef Ivan offers homemade desserts, breads and elaborated plates using local, seasonal fare where possible and of course chestnuts!
