In the event of an emergency, it's essential to know who to contact promptly. Below is a list of critical telephone numbers for various emergency services across Andalusia. Whether you're a resident or visiting, keep these numbers handy to ensure help is always within reach.

For immediate emergencies, dial 112 – this is the general emergency number for police, fire, and medical services available 24/7, with support in multiple languages.

Guardia Civil: 062

  • Traffic accidents (especially on intercity roads)

  • Rural crimes or thefts

  • Lost persons in remote areas

  • Border issues or firearms-related concerns

National Police: 091

  • Role: Serious crime, terrorism, immigration, identity documents (DNI/passport).

  • Where they operate: Mostly in larger towns and cities.

  • Call them for:

    • Reporting a serious crime (e.g., assault, robbery)

    • Passport or ID issues (including theft)

    • Issues at airports and train stations

    • Immigration or residency matters

Policía Local (Municipal Police) (092)

  • Role: Local law enforcement, traffic within towns, enforcing local bylaws.
