Move, Play, Enjoy Andalusia

Padel is one of Spain’s fastest-growing and most beloved sports, blending elements of tennis and squash into an exciting, fast-paced game that’s easy to pick up but challenging to master. Originating in Mexico in the 1960s, Padel found its true home and explosive popularity in Spain from the 1990s onwards, particularly in Andalusia, where the climate and social culture are ideal for outdoor sports.
Played in doubles on a smaller, enclosed court with glass walls, Padel encourages constant rallies, quick reflexes, and a lively team spirit. It’s common to see groups of friends, families, and even businesses gathering on courts across towns and cities, turning matches into vibrant social events.
Spain’s love for football is legendary, a fiery passion that pulses through every city and village. The country has produced some of the game’s most universally recognised stars, from the indomitable Iker Casillas guarding the goal, to Sergio Ramos’s fearless defending, Xavi Hernández and Andrés Iniesta’s magical midfield control, and the sharp goal-scoring of David Villa and Fernando Torres. Even today, players like Gerard Piqué and Sergio Busquets continue to shine on the world stage. These icons, combined with Spain’s historic triumphs, including the 2010 World Cup and multiple European Championships, have made football not just a sport in Spain, but a global symbol of Spanish talent, pride, and relentless passion.
